Look to find purpose and meaning in everything you do.

Find joy in the work and the outcome.

Make it simple.
My goal is to help make your job as simple and easy as possible. And by working with this method, I can ensure success along the way. I work in these basic steps.

  • We get together

  • Define a creative approach

  • Develop concept and design

  • Review

  • Produce

  • Refresh

Getting together is an exciting time
It’s when we get to discuss your project, your goals, and your visual preferences.  As well as:

  • Discussing the competitive landscape

  • Establishing targets

  • Review project parameters including timing, budget, and deliverables.

Define a creative approach
When we work on the creative brief together, it solidifies a common understanding of the statement of work and objectives for the project.

This covers:

  • Conceptual direction

  • Project timeline

  • Budget

  • Application of design

Develop concept and design
The concept and design phase is the conclusion of all the issues, ideas, and goals of the project. I will organize it into visual solutions, which may include:

  • Sketches

  • Prototype

  • Storyboards

  • Color pallets

  • Typography

Review
Together we will critique the project and determine if the design direction is a success. Once the design is approved, I will move toward the final production.

Produce
Now is the time all the planning is set in motion. This is an exciting and rewarding time to see each project come to life. Whether we are designing for print, web, or mobile, the process is simple. Follow the plan, test the concepts, push to production, and sign off on the final product.

Refresh.
As with most projects, it’s important to follow up to determine if your communication tools are doing their job. Ask yourself if your marketing investment in your printed brochure, website, or sales and marketing presentation continues to be a success. Perhaps it is time to rejuvenate and freshen up.
